Case Studies/Whitepapers/Research

1.      Should the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) Change Three Requirements? by Stan Walerczyk - Although DLC has been doing a good job getting new LED fixtures approved, which they do much faster than Energy Star, and DLC’s requirements for minimum lumens per watt (LPW) and color rendering index (CRI) can be considered good, let’s look further.  DLC has three requirements, which should be investigated.
1)      Minimum lumen requirements
2)      Maximum Kelvin
3)      If there is no existing category, even the best LED product cannot be approved
